Harvested on September 22nd, grapes in perfect health.
Aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
A beautiful bright straw-yellow colour.
The nose is very open and expressive, very Chardonnay with a dominant floral note, evolving into fruity accents evocative of Mirabelle plums. The discreet woody note lets some delicate Muscat accents through.
The mouthfeel is typical of 2015 - rich, full and sunny. It reflects the excellent maturity of the grapes. This full-bodied, "crisp" wine is dominated by ripe fruit notes, with great length. Good finish with power.
Food matching: Saucisson en brioche, blanquette de veau, pôchouse.
